If you're involved in an accident, it's crucial to file your claim immediately. Adhering to the insurance provider's procedures is essential, as failure to do so may lead to a denial of your claim. Ensure all claims are reported before you leave Mexico.
To report an accident:
Call the police by dialing 911 and wait for an officer to arrive to make an accident report. If possible, do not move your vehicle. If safety is a concern, take photos before moving the vehicle. Once the vehicle is in a safe location, wait for authorities to file the accident report.
